Skinner vs Vladar
Oilers playing on the full 200 foot sheet of ice for the first period. Bouchard is set up by McDavid in the slot and blasts a shot behind Vladar. Flyers' Michkov responds with a blast from the slot of his own in the 2nd period at 15:38. Oilers took the play to the Flyers in the 3rd period but stand-up goaltending at both ends kept the game an even score until the OT.
It took a fast-break 2-on-none by Savoie and Rosjovic who scored his second OT goal in as many games.
First of a seven game road trip for the Oilers: Tomorrow night, Thursday, Oilers vs Blue Jackets. Saturday, they visit the Hurricanes. On Monday they visit the Sabres. On Wednesday, Nov 19, they visit the Capitals. On Thursday, they visit the Lightning. On the Saturday HNIC appearance they play the Panthers, before returning home to play the Stars.
