Matthew Tkachuk tied it early in the third; Gustav Forsling made it 5–4; Leon Draisaitl tied it again; Carter Verhaeghe won it at 13:05 (from Sam Bennett).
- Goaltending: Sergei Bobrovsky (FLA) stopped 25 of 30 shots; Stuart Skinner (EDM) made 22 saves on 28.
- Notes: Connor McDavid (3A) and Draisaitl (1G, 1A) extended streaks; Draisaitl hit his sixth straight multipoint game (15 points in span, league-leading 23G). Hyman took a puck to the face but returned with a shield. Panthers ended 214-minute goal drought early, lead NHL with 8 SHG; Oilers (18–11–2) outshot FLA 30–28 but fell in high-scoring affair on four-game trip end for FLA.
